CRTC motives questioned

I strongly advise the CRTC to intervene in the ridiculous state of affairs they have turned their backs on. As a public body they should be threatening to deny the transition from standard television broadcast to mobile media marketeers… until some measure of fairness is entered into the discussion. The CRTC is capitulating to a pernicious corporate move that is tantamount to completely isolating rural communities like Brandon and the surrounding towns and villages. The obviously calculated moves - to force the closure of CKX Television - proves indelibly that over 20,000 rabbit ear television sets will be forced into purchasing cable or get no signal at all. The completely unnecessary removal of CKX-TV left only CKY-TV (and what's become of CKND Television in Winnipeg) on what's left of the 'air' currently.... this is a move intended to forcibly nudge people into the inevitability of the immanent and complete band hijack by Phone and Cable Consortiums so that they can continue to milk the mobile markets that the CRTC so foolishly - and to my mind criminally - endorse.
