Deadline to cast a vote for the Brandon Wheat Kings player of the year is Thursday, March 11 at 12 midnight. The winner will be unveiled during Fan Appreciation Night, scheduled for March 13 when the Wheat Kings play host to the Regina Pats.

Fans can vote either at both Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Brandon, online at www.wheatkings.com or at Westman Communications Group Place during Wheat King home games.

Recent winners of the player of the year fan voting have been Keith Aulie (2009), Matt Calvert (2008), Mark Derlago (2007), Codey Burki (2006) and Eric Fehr (2005).
