Heckles and hurrahs

Hurrah

In the hurrah section recently you mentioned Leola Campbell, who had handknitted 200 pairs of mitts. Leola is my aunt and she has actually knitted 2,200 pairs of mitts for Brandon area schools.

Hurrah:

Thanks to people for voicing their concerns over animal abuse.  I was sickened to hear of the cruelty that goes on in "some" native reserves in this province.  I do not understand why people have dogs if all they do is shoot them on "Dog Hunting Days".  No living creature deserves to be treated in this way.
