Jameson inducted into Hall

The Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame has inducted Hugh Jameson of Brandon into the Hall.

Jameson was raised on the farm where he and his wife Martha and three sons operate a dairy, beef herd, a laying hen operation and 4,000 acres of grain land.

Jameson served for 10 years on the Manitoba Milk Producers Board, four years as finance chair. He also served on the Provincial Exhibition board for 21 years, as president from 1984 to ‘86 and as chairman of Manitoba Livestock Expo, the province’s largest livestock show. As a director of the Brandon Keystone Centre, he was involved in the expansion of the Keystone Centre in the early ‘90s.

Hugh was a counselor on the Farm Debt Review Board and Chair of Cornwallis Municipality’s 100th Anniversary in 1984.
