Key captures senior men’s

Bill Key fired a three-over par 74 to capture the 2010 RBC Wheat City Senior Men’s Golf Tourney.

Key edged Bruce Ray by one stroke while Dennis Leclaire took third in the championship flight with a 76. Paul Solon, Harvey Ebner, Ken Coleman, Claire Chudley and Bill Crossman also carded 76s.

Ed Gabor carded an 83 to take top spot in the First Flight, winning on a countback over Paul Crane and Ray Smart.

Dave Bennett, George Morris and Jim Lyons each signed off on rounds of 87, with Bennett taking first with the Second Flight tiebreaker.
Rose Mann took the Third Flight with a 90. Bob harper was second and Frank Gudz was third each carding 91s.

Bruce McKay, Dick Pow and Angus Sneesby also tied for the best round in the Fourth Flight with McKay coming out on top of the tiebreaker.
In the Fifth and final flight, Peter Gosulak’s 101 edged out 102s fired by Neil Chochrane and Lew Stouffer.
