Due to the unseasonably high river levels this summer, Brandon Riverbank Inc.’s 2010 Million Dollar Duck Race will not be decided in the usual manner of racing ducks down the river, but by the random drawing of ticket stubs.
The draw took place at the Riverbank Discovery Centre on Thursday.
In addition, “The Discoverer” pontoon boat will not be running for the 2010 season. Unfortunately the dock remains underwater preventing the safe boarding of passengers. With Mother Nature’s cooperation, river tours will return in summer of 2011
