Tyrell Verboom  of Minnesdosa defeated  Matt Letkeman  of Carberry to capture the Westman Junior Golf Tour’s Group A Championship at the Oak Island Golf Course on Aug. 17.

Daylan Scinocca of Brandon defeated Tyler Turner  of Brandon to capture the First Flight while Moosomin’s Edrich Crouse defeated Brandon’s Shayne MacGranachan  to take the Second Flight. In the Third Flight Gary Kitchkeesick of Virden upended Braden Calvert of Carberry.

In the Group B Championship, Jaren Wiebe of Austin defeated Tanner Kyle of Elkhorn.

In the First Flight, Shane English got by Dre Panachyse of Virden with Caleb Wiebe defeating Carter Cowlthrop of Boissevain.

Skylar Canada of Boissevain defeated Keean McLaren of Carberry to capture the Third Flight.
In Group C action, Brett Opperman of Killarney  collected 71  points to edge fellow-Killarney junior golfter Matthew Millan by two points. Tyler Kennedy of Carberry finished with 62.5 points. Brendan English of Brandon was fourth with 61 points and Josh McMillan was fifth with 60 points.
