Shilo will host the season opener for the Wheat City Roller Derby League on Saturday, Mar 2.

The squad, which consists of 20 women, will play the Mouse River Rollers from Minot. Player Amy Currie says that they play once a month and have eight games lined up. This is Currie’s first year playing roller derby. She says that she played hockey but wanted a change.  This is the second year for the League.

The game on Mar. 2 will be played in Building L 25 at 7 p.m. at CFB Shilo.
